3. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar browser-storage technologies to operate the website, understand how it is used, and measure the effectiveness of our outreach. Cookies are small files stored on your device; localStorage and sessionStorage are similar mechanisms used by your browser to retain small pieces of state between page loads or sessions.
3.1 Categories
We group cookies and storage into three categories:
- Essential. Required for the website to function. Includes sign-in state, session security, and your stored preferences (such as your cookie choices and dismissed promotional banners). These are always on; the site cannot operate reliably without them.
- Analytics. Helps us understand how the website is used so we can improve it. Loaded only after you grant consent.
- Marketing. Helps us understand how visitors found us and measure the effectiveness of our outreach across the web. Loaded only after you grant consent.

3.3 Third-party providers
We rely on the following providers, each of whom may set or process the cookies listed above when their respective category is enabled. Each provider operates under its own privacy policy.
- Google LLC. Web analytics provider. Processes anonymous usage data on our behalf.
- Meta Platforms, Inc. Marketing measurement provider for our outreach efforts.
- X Corp. Marketing measurement provider for our outreach efforts.
- Vercel Inc. Hosting and infrastructure provider; also supplies anonymous, aggregated analytics described in 3.4 below.
3.4 Aggregated, anonymous metrics
Velocity Funds uses Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to collect anonymous, aggregated visitor counts and page-performance data. These tools do not set cookies and do not identify individual visitors. Because no personal data is processed, they operate regardless of your cookie preferences and are necessary for us to monitor whether the website is functioning correctly for users worldwide.
3.5 Managing your preferences
You may grant, decline, or change your consent at any time using the "Manage cookies" link in the website footer. You can also clear cookies and storage through your browser settings. Note that disabling Essential storage may impair core site functionality such as session continuity.
We will ask for your consent again every twelve months, when material changes are made to our cookie practices, or when you clear your browser storage.
4. Payment Processing
We use third-party payment processors to handle subscription and one-time payments. Your full card details are processed directly by those providers and are not stored on our own servers. We may retain limited billing information (such as the last four digits of your card, expiration date, and billing address) for records, fraud prevention, and customer support.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following situations:
- Service providers: With trusted vendors who perform services on our behalf (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processing, communications). They are allowed to use information only as necessary to provide services to us.
- Legal and compliance: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, where user information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and support legitimate business operations. When information is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it in a commercially reasonable manner.
7. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and notifying us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.
8. International Users
Our infrastructure may be located in the United States or other jurisdictions. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer, processing, and storage of your information in those locations, which may have data-protection laws different from your country of residence.
